Bio: With a hardened exterior to match his hardened bad habits, Dreher is all grime and brine. He is a rough and tumble individual with a vulgar disposition and a potent bite to his sermons. Although he tries his best to be welcoming to others, it sometimes comes across as far too forward and crass. Born into a family of habitual criminals that made their meager existence through fraud and scams, Dreher was forced to live with his grandparents at the age of 8 when his parents had to leave the country and were never heard of again. Living under his totalitarian grandparents he had his moral values and religion beaten into him. At age 15, he ran away from home and spent the next years living off the streets. The turning point in Dreher's life came when he found himself at the wrong end of a gun. Having wrapped himself up in some shady deals almost reminiscent of his parents, he took a bullet to his chest. As he lay on the street bleeding, it was like the light had been turned on. He found his direction, he knew there was more to life then scraping by on scraps and tatters.
He donated the next 8 years of his life to god and at the age of 27 became a priest. Within the next year war came to Germany and in 1915, Dreher enlisted as a Chaplain to the soldiers... and he never left. For the next 30 odd years, Dreher would remain a Chaplain and pick up the horrible habits and revert to the way of the soldier rather then the priestly elevation the cross at his neck suggested for him. He copes with the memories of the trenches through drinking and instead of seeing a therapist he smokes to calm himself, he gambles to past the time and swears to make his point.
Of all Dreher's short comings, other then sermon making, there is one very poignant talent that Dreher has and that is exorcisms. He participates in banishing those wayward demons quite often from the bodies of the soldiers and communities that he has served, one time almost becoming subject to the dark forces himself.
